Who should have liposuction
The main objective of liposuction is to enhance the appearance of fix body imperfections of any given anatomical area. The most commonly treated regions of the body are the abdomen, back, face, neck, legs, hips, and those with localized fat deposits.
Though proven effective, this method is not simply for everyone. Here are some of the characteristics that a patient must have in order to qualify for this surgical treatment.
- A patient must have a decent physical profile and nearly ideal body weight but with stubborn, localized fats in the abdomen, arms, thighs, or neck. It should be within 20 to 30 pounds of the ideal body weight.
- A patient who has no plans of getting pregnant soon after the procedure
- A patient who has firm and elastic skin is an ideal candidate, too. The skin elasticity can be affected by genetics, pregnancy and serious weight fluctuations.
- Age is not a factor. Even if you are already 50 years of age but your skin have good tone and elasticity, you can still qualify for this procedure.
Liposuction can do such wonders in your body. But always keep in mind that this is not a substitute for weight loss program.
