Weight gain after liposuction
Liposuction is not a weight loss program. You will hear this fact from any surgeon. This procedure can make your abdomen, your flanks and your back look aesthetically amazing. However, it is your full responsibility to maintain the great results after.
During the liposuction procedure, your surgeon had lessened the density of fat cells in the treated areas. But not all which means you still have fat cells. These fat cells will increase in size if you eat too much. There are even patients that say that liposuction made fats go to the other regions of the body. You need to understand that the areas that were not treated by liposuction have higher density of fat cells than those areas where fat where harvested. So if you continue to eat too much and gain weight, you would have a disproportionate body.
If you really want to invest in your body and look more pleasing and more confident than ever, then do your part of the bargain. Follow the recommendations of your surgeon and have a strict self-discipline. It’s you who will rip the benefits of your actions in the long run anyway.
